After Dolly Parton died at age 80 on Aug. 25, the country music legend's team shared her cause of death was cancer. In a statement to MS NOW, her representatives said the “Jolene” singer fought a short battle with the illness “bravely” until the end and died surrounded by loved ones after being hospitalized at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
