Tocvan Consolidates 100% Gran Pilar Ownership
Tocvan Ventures has completed the acquisition of the remaining 49% interest in the Pilar concessions, giving the company 100% ownership of the Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico and consolidating control over a key asset that includes the Main Zone across about 105 hectares. The company is also advancing a fully permitted 50,000-tonne heap-leach pilot facility at Gran Pilar, targeting a first gold-silver doré pour in Q4 2026 to generate early cash flow and validate scalable metallurgy. In parallel, Tocvan continues exploration across Gran Pilar with recent results highlighting near-surface success and district-scale potential, including near-surface intersection of 3.1 m at 19.4 g/t Au and ongoing work that has expanded the Bojorquez target and identified a new mineralized zone about 4 km north along the Central Corridor, featuring up to 2.4 g/t Au and 67 g/t Ag with copper up to 1.6%. The Central Corridor trend is now traced over more than 1,000 metres of strike, with pathfinder elements and epithermal characteristics supporting continued expansion across the district. Exploration drilling results are still pending for over 5,500 metres of drilling as Tocvan advances its strategy to scale Gran Pilar while leveraging Mexico’s mining-friendly jurisdiction. Tocvan’s broader portfolio also includes the Picacho Project, underscoring the company’s potential for growth as it moves toward near-term production and value creation for shareholders.
