Seahawks extend Leonard Williams through 2029

Seattle has signed defensive lineman Leonard Williams to a three-year, $90 million extension that guarantees $56 million and keeps him with the team through 2029. At 32, Williams has been a cornerstone for Seattle since joining in 2023 and played a key role in their Super Bowl run. Coaches and analysts regard him as among the league’s top interior defenders. The deal comes as Seattle continues a strategy of extending core players after nine-figure contracts for Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Devon Witherspoon and others.
