Lions Debut Rivalries Uniform Nov 1; Jaguars Added

The NFL’s Rivalries program for 2026 expands to the NFC North and AFC South, with each team introducing a new uniform for divisional games and merchandise going on sale Sept. 1. The Detroit Lions’ “Defend the Den” uniform features teal and carbon-fiber aesthetics and will debut Nov. 1 at home against the Minnesota Vikings. The Green Bay Packers unveil an antiqued green-and-gold look with engraved lettering, debuting Oct. 11 against the Bears. The Jacksonville Jaguars introduced a Jacksonville-centered design with teal helmets and jaguar-print pants, debuting Nov. 1 against the Colts and rotating for three seasons. Other teams in the mix include the Texans, Colts, and Vikings receiving Rivalries designs with previews and promotions rolling out through preseason. The reception to Detroit’s look includes mixed opinions, with some accusing it of borrowing Panthers-inspired aesthetics while other designs are praised for modernization.
