Slovakia Foils Drone Factory Napalm Plot, Three Detained

Slovak police say they foiled a planned arson attack on a factory that produces unmanned aerial systems in the country’s eastern region. Three foreign suspects were detained—two in Slovakia and one in Germany—after investigators seized an incendiary mixture, tools, a handwritten plan, and other evidence. The police say the improvised napalm-like substance consisted of gasoline and polystyrene, and around 70 people could have been on site at the time of the planned attack. The case is being treated as preparation for a particularly serious crime involving public endangerment, with authorities noting the factory’s value runs into tens of millions of euros. The operation was based on intelligence from Slovakia’s SIS and military intelligence, and investigators have not named the commissioning party or the factory location. No damage or injuries were reported as a result of the thwarted plot.
