Palou clinches fifth IndyCar title at Milwaukee

Alex Palou secured his fifth IndyCar Series championship in six seasons during a rain-shortened Milwaukee doubleheader, clinching the title with a 10th-place finish in the rearranged final race and signaling his dominance across road, street, and oval venues. The 29-year-old Spaniard added to his record books by becoming the fastest driver to reach five titles and the youngest to do so, while also becoming the first to win four consecutive championships since the series’ reunification.
