Micware Finalizes Group-Wide Reorganization Splitting Location, In-Vehicle Units
Micware Group has finalized a two-platform strategy, separating its operations into DynaPlanet for spatial data and micAuto-PF for software-defined vehicles, with the reorganization taking effect on September 1, 2026. The parent plans to optimize management by restructuring three subsidiaries: Micware Navigations will be renamed Micware Spacia and consolidate location-based services, while Micware Automotive and Micware Mobility will jointly develop the micAuto-PF SDV platform covering IVI, ADAS, and connected services. Leadership appointments include Masahide Shigeno as head of Micware Spacia and Kenta Imaida as CTO of Micware Automotive, reflecting the domain-focused structure. The changes aim to accelerate growth by enabling independent operation of each business domain and a clearer governance framework. The broader shift marks Micware’s transition from navigation-centric roots to a broader spatial-data and SDV software ecosystem.
