Falkirk sign DC United forward Murrell

Falkirk FC has completed the permanent signing of Jacob Murrell, a 22-year-old forward who was DC United’s No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, to bolster the Scottish Premiership club. Murrell has made 65 appearances for DC United, recording four goals and four assists across all competitions. Falkirk manager John McGlynn described Murrell as bringing something different to the squad, highlighting his size (6'2"), mobility, and eye for goal, with the potential for more at only 22. DC United's managing director of soccer operations, Dr. Erkut Sogut, praised Murrell’s development over three seasons and the memorable moments he provided for the fanbase.
