FalconTST 2.0 Rolling Out Across Six Banks
Ant International rolled out Falcon Time-Series Transformer Model 2.0, a specialized AI for financial institutions, and signed six major banks including Citi, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered, and Barclays. The model forecasts cash flow and foreign-exchange risk, boasting a public benchmark MASE of 0.666 and forecast accuracy above 93%, with executives saying it outperforms general-purpose models in financial contexts. Banks have already integrated FalconTST 2.0 into BARX NetFX, Citi’s Fixed FX Rates, Standard Chartered’s SCALE FX under PathFin.ai, and Deutsche Bank’s FX operations, with the tool initially developed for Ant International’s own needs. Ant International is inviting developers to join an API trial on GitHub to broaden adoption beyond banking. The company also disclosed a US$1.2 billion equity fundraising last month to support expansion. The launch reflects a broader industry push to embed specialized AI for liquidity management and currency risk across sectors such as aviation, e-commerce, and logistics.
