Deere Q3 Profit, Revenue Rise
Deere reported fiscal third-quarter profit of about $1.38 billion and earnings of $5.10 per share on revenue of roughly $12.61 billion, with results topping analysts’ expectations. Growth in construction and forestry equipment offset weakness in the production agriculture segment, which weighed on overall agriculture sales. The company credited strong demand for small tractors and construction equipment as a driver of the quarter and raised its 2026 net income outlook to a range of $4.75 billion to $5.00 billion. Executives reiterated their view that 2026 may be the bottom of the current agricultural equipment cycle, supported by improving order trends and shrinking used-equipment inventories. Market reaction highlighted that shares moved higher on the results and the raised guidance. The quarter also included items such as tariff recoveries and year-ago impairment charges that affected comparisons.
