DAZN to Acquire EverPass, Expand US Footprint
DAZN announced it will acquire EverPass Media, the distributor of premium live sports content to commercial venues, expanding its US and global footprint. EverPass holds exclusive commercial distribution rights for NFL Sunday Ticket and provides access to leagues like the EPL, UEFA Champions League, NBA, MLB, NFL and more to bars, hotels, and other venues, with EverPass rebranding as DAZN for Business. The deal includes EverPass founders RedBird Capital Partners, 32 Equity, and TKO Group Holdings becoming minority shareholders in DAZN, with Alex Kaplan continuing as CEO of the rebranded unit. DAZN aims to leverage EverPass’ technology as the foundation for its next-generation commercial-venue distribution and to broaden its U.S. deals with venues and teams. Existing EverPass customers will experience no interruption, and DAZN has cited recent U.S. expansion moves such as exclusive streaming deals with NBA teams and NHL distribution overseas as context. The transaction terms were not disclosed publicly.
