Colorado site exposes 133,000 confidential voter profiles

A series of updates to the Colorado Secretary of State’s Find My Voter Registration tool briefly exposed confidential voter records, with reports ranging from 59 profiles accessed to as many as about 133,000 profiles exposed for roughly 10 to 11 days. Officials say the exposure occurred during the tool update and was fixed within about an hour of discovery, with the state contacting affected voters and promising additional safeguards.
