Trump Asked About Post-Presidency Plans: ‘We’ll Do Something’

President Donald Trump appears to be weighing what is next in his plans post-presidency — without offering the public any details yet.

While at dinner at the Trump International Golf Club on Friday, Trump told the Washington Examiner, “We’ll do something, but not just yet.” After the remark, an aide politely ended the conversation between the former president and the reporter.

These are Trump’s first remarks to a reporter post-presidency since heading to Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

The former president did not attend President Joe Biden’sinauguration on Wednesday and instead left for Mar-a-Lago that morning. However, former Vice President Mike Pence did attend the inauguration.

Trump was seen golfing on his first full day since leaving the White House for the last time.

Earlier in the week, an aide told the Examiner, “He needs a break. I think we all hope he just plays golf for a month, but he always has to be on the go.”

During his departure ceremony at Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday, Trump also suggested that he would “be back in some form,” as IJR reported.

He also said during his final remarks, “Have a good life, we will see you soon.”
