Former President Donald Trump is trying to blast President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris over the Inflation rate, by discovering travel Tic Tacs.
During a rally on Wednesday, Trump reached into his suit jacket as he said, “In fact, I had something here. I did have something. I would show you. Wait a minute. I don’t know if you’ve seen this. I used it once. I have it. I do have it. Look at this. Look at this.”
“So this is Tic Tacs, right? I don’t know if I like the company. I’ve never met. I have no idea. They’re so lucky. This is the greatest commercial they ever had,” he continued.

Trump added, “But that’s what happened. This is Inflation. This is TicTac. This is Inflation. This is what’s happened. I just happened to have somebody give me this one today. I said, I think we’ll put it up as an example of Inflation.”
He held up a normal-size Tic Tac box and then a much smaller one, which he claimed was the result of Inflation.
However, the smaller box is being sold as a travel-size Tic Tac box.
The comment came hours after the July inflation report found prices rose less than expected at an annualized rate of 2.9%, marking the first time since early 2021 it was under 3%.
