Stephanie Grisham has filed a restraining order against Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio).
Grisham, who served as communications director for President Donald Trump in his first term, dated Miller in 2019 and 2020.
“Today we filed for a Temporary Restraining Order against Cong. Max Miller (R-OH) on behalf of former Trump Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham,” her attorney Mark S. Zaid posted Monday.
Grisham’s lawsuit stems from an op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post in 2021 when she described an abusive relationship with a man who she did not name.
Miller sued Grisham for defamation after the op-ed was published. Miller eventually dropped the lawsuit. The former couple signed a nondisclosure agreement that stated neither would publicly disparage the another.
Grisham then sued Miller in July when she alleged Miller broke the agreement by making remarks lduring a June 5
