Comedian Rosie O’Donnell is apparently giving credit where credit is due.
In this case, O’Donnell is pointing to President Donald Trump as the cause for her recent re-discovered fame.
O’Donnell told “Good Hang” host Amy Poehler, the White House continues to call her “obsessed” as a reason for her resurgence.
“I feel like recently I’m re-famous. That’s what I feel. I told my kids, well kids, hold on ’cause mommy’s re-famous. I don’t know how it happened. I think it’s Mango Mussolini,” O’Donnell said.
“I think it’s him who did it. He didn’t know. If he knew how much he was helping my career and my life, he would shut up about me because, you know, he’s a horrible creature,” she continued.
O’Donnell and Trump have been adversaties over the years,
She moved to Ireland after Trump son the 2024 election over former Vice President Kamala Harris.
The comedian has appeared on multiple podcasts and shows, and she will be the guest host on Jimmy Kimmel’s show for a week.
The White House pointed to one of Trump’s Truth Social posts from June 6.
The post shows four images of O’Donnell with Trump with a caption that said O’Donnell “is obsessed.”
