A guest on MSNBC is suggesting that Democrats will have to “scare” people into voting for their party.
During an appearance on MSNBC, Donny Deutsch, a marketing expert, was asked what the “best” strategy is to push back on the “great replacement theory,” — which claims that white people are being replaced.
“You take this heinous platform, and you make the Republicans own it,” Deutsch responded.
He continued, “Every Republican politician, every Republican candidate, ask them about it. Because they can’t run from it. Because it’s part of who they are at this point — as disgusting as that is. But make it the ‘Republican Replacement Theory.’ Mainstream it.”
“We don’t have the economy on our side as Democrats. So you have to scare the bejesus out of people and the way to scare them to say, ‘You know this replacement theory, this is not just coming from some dark corner of the web, this is the Republican platform.’ Make them own it,” he added.
Finally, Deutsch noted that President Joe Biden has not called out anyone by name for spreading the theory.
“Call out Tucker Carlson, call out the politicians and make them own it. This is a Republican platform. It’s the ‘Racist Republican Replacement Theory,” he said.

On Saturday, a gunman opened fire in a Tops Friendly Market in Buffalo, New York.
Eleven of the 13 people shot were Black.
The 18-year-old suspect in the shooting allegedly posted a 180-page document that contained racist language.
According to The Washington Post, the suspect “fixated on the idea that White people are being intentionally replaced.”
“That idea, once relegated to the fringe, has gained currency on popular right-wing television programs and in the halls of Congress,” it explained.
In the wake of the shooting, some have accused Fox News’ Tucker Carlson and Congressional Republicans of spreading the replacement theory.
On Tuesday, Biden was asked if Carlson and Republicans bare “some responsibility” for the Buffalo shooting.
“I believe anybody who echoes the replacement is to blame, not for this particular crime,” he responded.
