Melania Trump Launches New Venture, Part of Proceeds to Assist Children Aging Out of Foster Care System

Former First Lady Melania Trump is announcing a new venture.

The former first lady made the announcement on Thursday that she will be combing her “passion for art and commitment to helping our Nation’s children fulfill their own unique American Dream.”

Trump launched a new NFT, non-fungible tokens, platform. An NFT “in the simplest terms … transform digital works of art and other collectibles into one-of-a-kind, verifiable assets that are easy to trade on the blockchain,” as CNN explains.

The first NFT to be released will be titled, “Melania’s Vision,” and will be available December 16-31 on MelaniaTrump.com, per the press release. Parler is powering the efforts.

The first NFT “embodies Mrs. Trump’s cobalt blue eyes, providing the collector with an amulet to inspire.” The “breathtaking watercolor art” will also include an audio recording of Trump. Per The Hill, she says, “My vision is: look forward with inspiration, strength, and courage.”

A portion of the proceeds will assist children who are aging out of the foster system “by way of economic empowerment and with expanded access to resources needed to excel in the fields of computer science and technology.”

“I am proud to announce my new NFT endeavor, which embodies my passion for the arts, and will support my ongoing commitment to children through my Be Best initiative,” Trump said. The former first lady continued, “Through this new technology-based-platform we will provide children computer science skills, including programming and software development, to thrive after they age of the foster community.”

According to the press release, Trump’s NFTs will be released in regular intervals, “with a one-of-a-kind auction of historical importance scheduled in January 2022, including three elements: digital artwork, physical artwork, and a physical one-of-a-kind accessory.”
