Skanska signs $1.2B US data centers deal

Skanska has signed a $1.2 billion contract to build four data centers in the southeastern United States, covering about 75,000 square meters with shell construction and interior fit-out for technical spaces, support areas, and offices. Construction starts in Q3 2026 and is expected to be completed by Q3 2028, with the deal booked in Skanska’s US order backlog under an existing client.
