Unlicensed Houston funeral operator charged in $2.2M theftBusiness — Jul 21, 2026A Houston funeral home operator, Unique Green (also listed as Michael James Green and Unique Mica Green-Battle), is charged with five felonies for forging a will and unlawfully taking about $2.2 million plus three vehicles from the estate of Lawrence Gammon after posing as his spouse. Bond was set at $800,000 as authorities allege the scheme involved backdating the will, submitting fraudulent documents to obtain a funeral director license, and impersonating another funeral business to divert assets.
