Final Fantasy III

is a Nintendo DS role-playing video game and a remake of the 1990 Family Computer game, Final Fantasy III. The game was developed by Matrix Software and marks the first time the game was released outside of Japan since its original launch. A port was released for iOS on March 24, 2011. It was followed by an Android port on March 12, 2012, a PlayStation Portable port in late September 2012 (downloadable-only format outside Japan via PlayStation Network) and a Windows port via Steam in 2014 in the west and in 2020 in Japan with further updates.
