El maleficio

El maleficio is an upcoming Mexican telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for TelevisaUnivision. It is based on the 1983 telenovela of the same name created by Fernanda Villeli. The series is set to premiere on Las Estrellas on 13 November 2023. It stars Fernando Colunga and Marlene Favela. On 4 January 2023, José Alberto Castro was announced as executive producer of the reboot. Filming of the series began in July 2023.
