Culebra

Isla La Culebra is a small, uninhabited islet belonging to Venezuela. Geographically, it forms part of the Los Roques Archipelago, a complex system of coral islands and reefs situated in the southern region of the Caribbean Sea. Administratively, this territory is under the jurisdiction of the Territorio Insular Francisco de Miranda, which is a special subdivision of the Federal Dependencies of Venezuela. The island is highly notable within the national park system due to its truly exceptional environmental conditions, remaining practically untouched by human activity thanks to the very strict access regulations and environmental protections that weigh upon its territory.
