It was directed by Steven Hilliard Stern and written by Alan Hines, based on the 1996 best-selling memoir Breaking the Surface by Louganis and Eric Marcus. Michael Murphy, Jeffrey Meek, Rosemary Dunsmore, Aki Aleong, and Bruce Weitz co-star.
