HD Korea Shipbuilding Siemens Sign AI Shipyard Pact
HD KSOE has signed with Siemens to deploy a Next-Generation Marine Platform that fuses AI, digital twins and 3D modeling to unify ship design, production, supply chain and maintenance in a single data environment, enabling a virtual shipyard and aiming for a future physical AI shipyard with autonomous operations. The agreements, announced at Washington, D.C. events tied to the Korea-U.S. Shipbuilding Partnership Center, emphasize real-time data sharing and faster, higher-quality decision-making across HD Hyundai’s shipbuilding affiliates.
