Sabadell Q2 profit up 28% on TSB gains
Banco Sabadell posted a 28% rise in Q2 net profit to €624 million, helped by a €322 million capital gain from the sale of its UK unit TSB, and provided pro forma figures showing a 48% jump in recurring profit to €608 million. The bank also unveiled a €331 million share buyback while noting that net interest income fell 0.4% on a pro forma basis, though lending volumes and customer funds continued to grow, signaling solid momentum amid higher rates.
