Infleqtion Secures Three DOE Genesis Projects
Infleqtion received three U.S. Department of Energy Genesis Mission projects with collaborators including Argonne, Brookhaven, Lawrence Livermore, and the University of Colorado Boulder to advance AI-optimized quantum circuit design for nuclear applications, deployable atomic quantum sensing with Agentic AI, and nuclear fusion energy research, signaling a broader push to merge quantum computing with AI and HPC. The move is part of a DOE-led effort to build a quantum-centric science platform, with IBM committing $50 million in quantum compute access and ORNL installing a 20-qubit Pathfinder on-site to integrate quantum hardware with existing supercomputing resources.
