Two suspects arrested in Enterprise toddler abduction
Two suspects, Shamarco S. Moore and Kiara O. Avery, were arrested in Montgomery in connection with the abduction of Kingston Thomas from Enterprise, with Moore identified as the child’s uncle. The 2-year-old was found safe about five to six hours after the Amber Alert was issued, later recovered at a residence in Montgomery County. U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, along with local agencies, coordinated the arrests and transferred custody to the Enterprise Police Department. Authorities had previously issued an Amber Alert for Kingston after he was taken from a babysitter’s home on Three Notch Road, prompting a rapid, multi-agency law enforcement response. Officials emphasized the importance of interagency collaboration and pledged that those responsible would be held accountable as the investigation continues.
