Swift Named Youngest Nashville Hall Inductee

Taylor Swift has been named a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2026, becoming the youngest inductee at age 36 in the contemporary songwriter/artist category. She will be joined by co-honorees Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp, and Lee Thomas Miller in the Contemporary category. Swift’s induction follows her June accolade as the youngest woman to enter the national Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York. The induction ceremony is planned for this fall, with a date to be announced. Nominations for the class also highlighted rivals in the contemporary category, including Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and Phil Vassar, with Swift elected by a vote of artists, professional songwriters and Hall of Fame members. The Nashville hall notes it has inducted 241 songwriters since 1970, as the 2026 class adds another prominent chapter to its history.
