Keenan Allen Signs One-Year Deal with Colts
The Indianapolis Colts signed six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen to a one-year deal worth up to $8.32 million, adding a veteran presence to a thinner receiver room. Allen is expected to slot as WR3 behind Alec Pierce and Josh Downs, providing a reliable target as Pierce works back from injury and Downs cements a larger role. Allen’s familiarity with Colts coach Shane Steichen from their Chargers days is expected to help the offense quickly adapt. Behind the top trio, Indianapolis still lacks proven depth, with Ashton Dulin, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Laquon Treadwell, and Anthony Gould among the options and Pierce’s status uncertain. The Colts previously traded away Pittman, creating a gap they sought to address with depth and experience.
