HAL, Safran Sign Long-Term LEAP Engine Pact

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Safran Aircraft Engines have signed a long-term agreement to produce near-net-shape turbine ring forgings in superalloys for the CFM LEAP engine, to be manufactured at HAL’s Bengaluru ring-rolling facility as part of expanding their longstanding partnership and HAL’s footprint in the global civil aerospace market.
