Odyssey Reaches $639.6M Global in Second Weekend
Odyssey dominated North American box offices in its second weekend with about $87 million, while the global total climbed to approximately $639.6 million after adding $128.3 million overseas. It stands as Nolan’s best second-weekend ever and the second-best second frame for an R-rated film, behind only Deadpool and Wolverine. IMAX accounted for about $140 million of the global gross, with 70mm IMAX screens contributing $5.2 million as demand remains high for Nolan’s preferred format. International strength remains led by the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Australia and Germany, even as audiences eye next-week openings like Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In India, Odyssey collected around ₹120 crore in the second weekend, underscoring robust overseas performance alongside its global ascent toward the $1 billion milestone. The sustained momentum and IMAX-driven appeal position Nolan’s epic as a standout box-office success of 2026.
