Invesco Slashes Fees to Ease Redemption Queue
Invesco is rolling out Solutions & Custom Strategies, a unified platform that combines its public and private market capabilities with tech-enabled customization, while also cutting fees and providing capital support to ease liquidity pressure in its Invesco Core Real Estate-USA fund. The firm is cutting management fees by 20% for investors without redemption requests and offering a one-year zero-fee period for new commitments of at least $10 million. It is also enabling a tender offer to buy shares at 95% of net asset value to address an elevated redemption queue. In addition, Invesco and senior leaders will contribute up to $150 million of their own money to the fund to reinforce alignment with investors. The redemption queue has stood at about $2.2 billion, with redemptions running roughly 5.3% of NAV on an annual basis since 2022, above the long-term average. The overall strategy aims to ease withdrawals, bolster confidence among institutional investors, and reposition ICRE amid ongoing real estate market challenges and liquidity needs.
