Disney+ to Stream Formula E Worldwide
Disney+ will stream Formula E races globally across 144 territories, with ESPN and ESPN+ carrying U.S. coverage, under a multi-year deal that expands the league’s broadcasting reach. The 2026-27 season will feature 21 races across 13 cities, including Jeddah, Austin, Miami, Monaco, and Tokyo, aligned with Formula E’s GEN4 era. The arrangement preserves existing broadcast partnerships while expanding streaming distribution and maintaining some linear TV relationships where feasible. Executives say the deal marks a landmark moment, aiming to reach millions of new fans and enable more content beyond live races, such as previews, highlights, and analysis. The GEN4 car is described as the fastest and most technologically advanced yet, powered by 600 kW, underscoring the tech-forward fit of the partnership. Financial terms were not disclosed.
