BMS to Build $2.3B Houston Campus; Lilly Expands

Bristol Myers Squibb is investing about $2.3 billion to build a 600,000-square-foot manufacturing campus at Generation Park in Houston, creating nearly 500 permanent jobs and about 2,000 construction-related roles through 2027–2030. The modular, multi-modal facility is designed to manufacture small molecules, biologics, and antibody-drug conjugates, with capacity to scale as pipelines and technology evolve. The project is part of a broader $40 billion, five-year U.S. investment by BMS in R&D, technology, and domestic manufacturing, and Texas has extended a $4.89 million Texas Enterprise Fund grant to support it.
