To send a Zoom meeting invite, first schedule or start a meeting in your Zoom account, then copy the meeting link and share it with participants through email, messaging apps, calendar invitations, or your preferred communication method.
Via scheduled meetings: Log into Zoom, click "Schedule a Meeting," fill in the meeting details (topic, date, time, duration), and select "Save." Zoom generates a meeting link and invitation details. You can then copy these details or click "Copy the invitation" to paste into an email or message to send to attendees.
Via calendar integration: When scheduling, you can select your calendar system (Outlook, Google Calendar, etc.), and Zoom will automatically generate a calendar invitation with the meeting link embedded. Send this through your calendar application.
During an active meeting: If you're already in a meeting and want to invite others, click "Invite" in the meeting controls, select your preferred method (email, copy link, or contact list), and share accordingly.
Direct sharing: Simply copy the meeting link from your Zoom dashboard or from the meeting invitation details and paste it into any message or email to send to participants.
Participants can join by clicking the link in their browser without needing a Zoom account, or by entering the meeting ID and passcode if prompted. Most invitations include both the link and meeting ID as backup options for joining.
