To change your Apple ID email address, sign in to appleid.apple.com, select "Account" at the top, then "Edit" next to your name and photo. Under the "Account" section, you'll see your email addresses. Click "Edit" next to your primary email to change it, or select the edit icon next to secondary email addresses to add or remove them. Apple requires you to verify any new email address before it becomes active—you'll receive a verification code that you must enter to confirm. If you're changing your primary email, your new address will receive all future Apple communications. Note that you cannot remove your only email address; you must have at least one active email associated with your Apple ID. If you want to change the email address you use to sign in to your Mac, iPhone, or iPad, you'll be making this change through your Apple ID account, and it may take time to sync across all your devices. Two-factor authentication adds security to this process by requiring verification on your trusted devices.
