Darnell Smith is returning to Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan’s administration as Chief of Staff, leveraging decades of executive experience from Florida Blue and having previously held the role in 2024. Evers appoints York to Wisconsin Court of Appeals

Gov. Tony Evers appointed Katie York to the Court of Appeals – District IV to fill the vacancy created by Judge Brian Blanchard’s retirement, with a term ending July 31, 2028, and separately named Monroe County Circuit Judge Todd Ziegler to the District IV Court of Appeals to replace Judge Chris Taylor, with a term ending July 31, 2027.
