Matthias Schweighöfer has joined New Line’s Conjuring prequel The Conjuring: First Communion, with Garrett Wareing and Amanda Fix cast as the young Ed and Lorraine Warren. The film, directed by Rodrigue Huart from a script by Richard Naing & Ian Goldberg, is slated for September 10, 2027, with filming underway and plot details under wraps, while it remains unclear if Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will appear.
