Rogoff U.S. Attorney Firing Triggers Suit

Roger Rogoff, appointed by Seattle-area judges as U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington, was fired by President Trump less than an hour after taking the post and has filed lawsuits arguing the removal violated the Vacancies Act and the Appointments Clause, seeking reinstatement until a Senate-confirmed replacement is named.
