A 16-year-old youth in Winnipeg has been charged with killing or injuring animals after allegedly placing a cat inside a plastic bag and stabbing it to death with a knife during a Monday night incident in the Centennial/Main Street area. Police say the cat was believed alive when bagged, and the youth is facing multiple charges including weapons possession and several counts of failing to comply with release or sentence orders.
