Athletics Gain New Investors Ahead of Las Vegas Move

Harbinger Sports Partners, led by Mark Cuban, has bought a minority stake in the Oakland Athletics ahead of the team’s 2028 Las Vegas relocation, with Falcons minority owner Rashaun Williams among the investors. The deal’s size and price weren’t disclosed, and it accompanies plans for a $2 billion, 33,000-seat stadium on the Las Vegas Strip while the A’s continue to play in Sacramento this interim period, with the club valued around $2 billion per Forbes.
