Thad Jean remained undefeated at 12-0 by stopping late replacement Ernesto Rodriguez at 2:44 of the third round to claim the vacant PFL welterweight title in Washington, D.C., after Shamil Musaev withdrew due to weight-cut issues. Rodriguez gave Jean a tough test on 48 hours’ notice, staging a back-and-forth contest before Jean poured on ground-and-pound to seal the win, delivering a dramatic conclusion to the main event.
