BancaStato has integrated Sygnum’s crypto trading and custody services into its Avaloq-powered apps, enabling customers to buy, hold, and sell Bitcoin and other assets directly within existing banking platforms with off-balance-sheet custody. This API-based rollout, supported by Avaloq’s SaaS environment and part of a broader regulatory push under MiCA, makes BancaStato the first bank on Avaloq to offer this crypto trading via API and aligns it with a growing network of traditional banks adopting regulated digital assets.
