TikTok says in Q1 2026 it removed 884,591 Kenyan videos for guideline violations, mostly proactively detected (99.7%) and taken down within 24 hours (96.3%), plus banning 48,739 accounts under 13 and interrupting 103,847 LIVE rooms. Globally, 184,012,576 videos were removed (about 0.5% of uploads) with AI handling over 96% of removals, 14,261 AI/edited content removals, 8.8 million videos reinstated after review, and TikTok joining the C2PA Steering Committee to bolster AI transparency.
